Fee Definition
Service Fee
A mandatory fee that is paid by the ACQP to Alipay+ for a payment with respect to the interpartner of the payment.
Service Fee is determined by whether the payment is local or cross-border.
The following figure illustrates how the fees are charged from ACQPs:
Interpartner Fee
A mandatory fee that is paid by the ACQP to Alipay+ for the interpartner (which is the MPP) of a payment. Alipay+ passes the Interpartnter Fee to the MPP.
Interpartner Fee is determined by:
The MPP of the payment.
Whether the payment is local or cross-border.
The merchant type, which is defined by the MCC.
The source of the payment fund (balance, card, etc.).
Fee Structure
The fees for payments and refunds are different:
Fees for payments: Service Fee + Interpartner Fee.
Fees for refund: Interpartner Fee is returned to the ACQP. Service Fee is not.
